ARTICLES & SERIES | EMBODIMA™
Here are eight redacted articles originally published as a series in the AOTOS (Association of Teachers of Singing) UK journal. These are cumulative and gradually describe the stages of understanding what motor memory is and how Embodima™ works in the training of the muscles of singing. These articles are written for singing teachers to offer a progression of information to help understand the concept of Embodima™ gesture and the neuroscience behind it, whilst rooting it in the practical side of vocal training. This series is a simplified representation of a complex response in the brain and shows how this positively coordinates the muscles of singing during training and performance. The neuroscience has been simplified for non-scientists and applied directly to the practical teaching of singing.
